The program should show us the special characters ID in the module.

Please always post the error message that you get, including a hint about the line number that the error references.

The code as it is posted is not complete (resultsBox is not defined), so we cannot reproduce this problem.

Ignoring the error you didn' tell us about...

I'm thinking you want to tell the user the Object Identifiers of every object whose Object Text contains one of your 5 offending characters.

  • Buffer bufResults = create
  • bool Found
  • For each object
  • {  Found = false
  •    for each of 5
  •    {  if (findPlain Text....) then Found = true
  •     }
  •     if (Found)
  •     {  if (length(bufResults) > 0) then bufResults += ", "
  •        bufResults += identifier(o)
  •     }
  • }    // end for objects
  • set(dbe, tempStringOf(bufResults))
  • delete(bufResults)
